Partnership that strengthens the mission.
Never compromises it.
TerraNovaID works with universities, educational institutions, organisations and policymakers who share the belief that ecological engagement begins with identity, not behaviour. This page explains how we work together, and what we protect in every partnership.
Three ways to work together.
Each governed by the same principles.
- Research
Research partnerships
For universities and research institutions. Collaborate on ecological identity research, Portrait methodology development, cross-cultural validation and longitudinal studies. All data access follows the consent architecture described on our Trust & Transparency page.
- Educational
Educational partnerships
For schools, universities and educational programmes. Integrate ecological identity tools into curricula, student development programmes and ecological literacy initiatives. Students always participate voluntarily. Portrait findings are never used for grading or evaluation.
- Organisational
Organisational partnerships
For companies and organisations that want to explore ecological identity in their context. This is not a sustainability programme bolt-on. It is a fundamentally different approach, one that starts with who people are, not what they should do. Organisational partners must accept the same non-negotiable principles that govern the entire platform.
Five principles that apply to every partnership.
Regardless of scale or commercial value.
- 01Individuals always retain full autonomy. No one is required to take the Portrait. No one is pressured to share results. Voluntary participation is unconditional.
- 02Portrait findings are never used for evaluation. Not for hiring decisions, not for performance reviews, not for any form of institutional assessment. Ecological identity is not a competency to be measured.
- 03Data ownership stays with the individual. Always. The institution receives aggregated, anonymised insights only, never individual data. The person’s Portrait belongs to them, not to the partner organisation.
- 04No comparative reporting between individuals. No ranking of employees, students or members. No "team ecological identity score". The architecture does not permit it.
- 05No use of Portrait data for marketing or HR purposes. Ecological identity work is not a branding exercise and not an employee engagement tool. It is genuine identity development, or it is nothing.
These boundaries are not negotiable for any partner, at any scale, under any commercial circumstance.
Three steps. The first one is a conversation.
- 01
Contact
Describe your organisation and the partnership you envision. We are interested in what you want to achieve and how ecological identity fits into your mission.
- 02
Alignment
Together, we assess whether the partnership aligns with the non-negotiable principles. This is not a formality. It is a genuine conversation about values, boundaries and expectations.
- 03
Formalisation
If alignment is confirmed, we formalise the partnership with a clear agreement that includes structural safeguards. Both parties commit to the principles. Both parties can audit compliance.
