Contributing

A contribution keeps the work in reach of more people.

TerraNovaID is freely open to anyone. Contributing is for those who would like to help keep it that way.

Voluntary Solidarity

Three levels.
Each gives something back, and helps the work stay in reach.

Each level is once. Each gives you something to keep, and helps TerraNovaID stay open to people who could not contribute themselves.

  • Lets the work stay open to someone who has not yet found the way in.

    Yours to keep

The curated Reflection Article-bundle, waiting in your account.

  • Lets the work keep going, within reach of people building a life around what they truly value.

    Yours to keep

The Reflection Article-bundle, and early access to the first Reflection Journey, ahead of everyone else, waiting in your account when it arrives.

  • Holds the whole of it open over time, for people who arrive later.

    Yours to keep

The Reflection Article-bundle, early access to the first Reflection Journey, and early access to the Echo Portrait, each one waiting in your account when it arrives.

The principle

Why this matters,
underneath the talk about prices.

There is a shape to TerraNovaID that the talk about prices does not quite reach. What lives here is built to stay within reach of the people who need it, not the people who can pay for it most easily.

That choice has to rest on something, and it rests on more than one thing at once: the people who hold a membership, the people who give once, the few who showed up early and made the first years possible. No single one of them holds it up alone. Together, they keep the work in reach.

The day a contribution becomes the price of entry is the day this stops being what it says it is. So it stays what it is: a way to help, never a gate. If the work has reached you, and you would like it to reach someone else, the three levels above are how.

To be clear

What this is not,
so there is no confusion.

  • Not a donation

A contribution pays for work that everyone receives anyway. The Portrait, the Letters, the first part of every piece: free, and staying free. What you give helps keep it that way.

  • Not a membership

A membership is a different path: ongoing access, yearly or monthly, for the year you want continuity. Solidarity is once. Take whichever fits the year you are in.

  • Not a condition

Nothing freely open here asks for a contribution first. No nudges, no reminders. If one arrives, it arrives because you chose it.

If you ever want to know how contributions are held and where they go, the trust page has the whole account. It is not worth reading until you need it. It stays open in case you do.

When you are ready

Yours,
to give.

Whichever level you pick, it stays a one-time gift, never a subscription. What it helps keep open will reach someone later.
